The Albany was built as a Runabout and Surrey in Albany, Indiana, from 1907 to 1908. These American Automobiles were rather crude vehicles with a false hood and solid rubber tires.
Jas. B. Mc Nary, John L. Tully and William L. Cory were officers in this company.
Five different models were built by The Albany Automobile Co. The Albany was equipped with a single cylinder air cooled engine that was rated at 7 horsepower and others with a two cylinder engine rated at 20 horsepower. About 900 Albany automobile were produced.
